Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious incident in Allenton on Sunday (October 10).
A spokesperson for Derbyshire Constabulary said a man aged in his 20s was assaulted and stabbed on Osmaston Road between around 7pm and 7.10pm.
He was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries are not thought to be serious.
The spokesperson said an investigation is being carried out and that police would like to hear from anyone who may have been in the area around the time or have any information about the incident.
